The club always recieves several places for the London Marathon.Recently we have been awarded as many as 4 club places,however,this year have only been awarded one.The places are allocated to athletes after discussion by the club committee and take into account such things as turn out at training and races and the general amount of work put in/help given to the club.
This years place has been awarded to Tony Tomblin.Well done!
To my knowledge that brings the total number of Boston A.C athletes who will be competing to 4- David Johnson,Bob Shaw,Dennis Rainbow and Tony Tomblin.All athletes will be delighted to recieve sponsorship for their run,the money which goes directly to the club.If anyone wants to help please contact the individuals or Dennis at training or races.
